Our Purification Process

This crucial initial phase involves adding a precise amount of chlorine to the raw water. This acts as a powerful disinfectant, eliminating harmful bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. It also helps in oxidizing dissolved organic matter and minerals, preparing the water for subsequent filtration stages.

Following pre-chlorination, water is directed through large beds of multi-layered sand and gravel. This physical filtration process effectively removes larger suspended solids, turbidity, and particulate matter that can make water cloudy. It's a fundamental step in achieving initial clarity.

Here, water passes through highly porous activated carbon filters. This stage is crucial for adsorbing residual chlorine, unpleasant odors, tastes, and various organic compounds (like pesticides and herbicides) that might be present. It significantly enhances the aesthetic qualities of the water.

Reverse Osmosis is a cutting-edge membrane technology. Water is forced under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane, which has extremely tiny pores. This process effectively removes dissolved solids, heavy metals (like lead and mercury), salts, nitrates, and even some bacteria and viruses, resulting in highly purified water.

As a final sterilization step, water passes through a chamber where it is exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. UV radiation effectively inactivates any remaining bacteria, viruses, cysts, and other pathogens by disrupting their DNA, preventing them from reproducing and ensuring the water is biologically safe without using chemicals.

This is the ultimate polishing step. Water flows through a very fine microfilter (typically 0.2 micron or less) to capture any remaining microscopic particles, dust, or residual impurities that might have bypassed previous stages. This ensures the water is crystal-clear, visually appealing, and impeccably clean before bottling.
